Spätzle, rich in fresh eggs and flavors, is part of Alsatian gastronomy and is traditionally browned in butter and served as an accompaniment to game on holidays. Their original shape, thick and rough, also lends itself to all kinds of culinary creations. On a daily basis we particularly like them fried in the pan with mushrooms and in a gratin.
