Their initial idea: to gather this peasant know-how before it disappeared and bring it, without artifice, into kitchens all over the world. No artificial colors, no chemical preservatives — just vegetables, oil, and chili, prepared just as it was done a century ago.

You don’t buy Bomba Calabrese just to "add some chili."
