I take the first sip and the body is there, rich, with that chocolate and toasted nut base. A hint of spice arrives at the end, light, and then the aroma settles, long, in the mouth and in the room. The crema is generous and well-held. I am standing at the counter of a bar in Modena, the tiny cup in my hand, and I need nothing else.

There are bars you enter for the coffee, and where the coffee is enough.

Bar Molinari, in the heart of Modena, began roasting its own coffee in 1911. More than a hundred years later, the company uses the most modern industrial technologies, but maintains an almost manic devotion to artisanal craft. That is where Ricco comes from: a historic blend from Caffè Molinari, for those seeking the taste of traditional coffee.

It is part of Molinari’s new Coffee Bar line, designed for those who want to serve a coffee with an inimitable aroma, in the tradition of the house. Made almost exclusively from Central American coffees, it offers a strong and persistent aroma, intended for lovers of that coffee fragrance that is instantly recognizable.

It is the ultimate counter coffee: direct, full of character, made to be drunk standing up, early in the morning, without ceremony.

And here, in Canada, when the day breaks in the cold, you only need to open the bag for the kitchen to smell a little like Modena. The beans slide into the grinder, the aroma rises, and the day can begin.

WHY WE USE THIS SHIPPING SYSTEM ONCE A WEEK

The reason is simple: this is why we use this shipping system once a week, where products are shipped on Sundays.

If we had to keep all products in large quantities, we would need a very, very, very large warehouse, like a large distribution center. The cost of that would significantly increase our prices.

Instead, we keep limited stock and receive weekly deliveries.

However, our 100+ suppliers do not all deliver at the same time, and not all of them have an accurate inventory system — and that is another story lol.

For this reason, in order to build your package, we must wait for products from all suppliers. If we already have all the items, your package may be able to leave sooner. It also depends on the volume of orders.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

All orders are dispatched once a week, on Sundays. All services, including express service, follow this same shipping schedule.

You place your order here (week 1) – for example: whether it is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

👉 This is considered our order week (week 1).

👉 Your order will be prepared from the following Monday through Saturday, then shipped the following Sunday (the next Sunday, not the one in the week you ordered).

👉 If you order on or after Sunday, in the new week, your package will then depart the following Sunday, which is approximately 14 days later.

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

Orders are processed weekly.

If you place your order before Sunday, it will be processed and shipped the following Sunday (not the upcoming Sunday).

If you order after Sunday, it will be processed and shipped the following Sunday (i.e., the second Sunday after your order).

WHERE ARE THESE PRODUCTS LOCATED?

All our products are already in Canada, in our warehouse, ready to be shipped. You will not have any customs fees or hidden costs upon delivery.

WHY DO YOU SHIP ONCE A WEEK?

Because we work with several importers and suppliers.

Some products are in limited quantity in our warehouse and we must wait for the missing items to arrive.

Since our suppliers do not all deliver on the same day, we consolidate orders and ship once a week to ensure that your order is complete.

WHY IS AN ITEM MISSING FROM MY ORDER?

Some of our suppliers do not have real-time inventory systems and do not always notify us when a product is out of stock.

Furthermore, some items received may have an expiration date that is too soon. We check every product upon receipt and remove those that do not meet our standards.

If an item is missing, it is because we have chosen not to include it in order to guarantee you the best possible quality.

WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE A RETURN POLICY?

As these are food products, we cannot accept returns for safety and hygiene reasons.

Once a product has been shipped, we cannot guarantee the conditions under which it has been stored or handled.

Why has the price of this product increased since my last order?

Our products are purchased in euros, so the exchange rate directly influences our prices.

In addition, transport and import costs can fluctuate, which can also have an impact on the final price.
