The bag you open, the fragrance that escapes all at once, dark, roasted, almost chocolatey, and then the crema that forms in the cup: this is Molinari's Intenso, the Italian espresso ready to serve.

From the first sip, it’s the body that grabs me: round, confident, filling the entire mouth. I immediately find that thick, almost velvety crema, and the aroma that rises—roasted, deep, and persistent. This is not a delicate coffee, and I don’t ask it to be: it is frank, direct, and straightforward. Then the finish arrives, with its notes of chocolate that linger long on the back of the palate. I set the cup back on the counter and smile: this is a real Italian espresso.

It is 7:30 a.m. in Modena. The bar is already full, the machine is hissing, and nobody is sitting down. You place your change on the counter, down your espresso in three sips, and exchange a few words about the weather. This little black coffee, strong and hot, is the real start of the day.

This is the spirit of Caffè Espresso Intenso by Molinari. Bar Molinari in Modena has been roasting its own coffee since 1911, and Intenso is a selected blend of Arabica and Robusta, designed for a strong, round flavor. Its aroma is persistent, its crema rich, and its finish keeps notes of chocolate that linger well after the last sip. Here, it’s all about character.

This ground format, vacuum-packed, has an obvious advantage: there is nothing to do. You open, you scoop, you brew. The fragrance of a freshly opened coffee, without having to take out the grinder.

You don’t buy this coffee for gentleness. You buy it for its presence: that of an espresso that doesn't apologize, one that holds its own against milk, sugar, or a long morning.

Somewhere in Canada, on a winter morning, it’s still dark outside, the thermometer reads minus twenty, and you only have one thing to do: open the bag. The aroma fills the kitchen, the crema forms, and for the duration of a cup, you are standing at the counter of a little Italian bar, before the day begins.

WHY WE USE THIS SHIPPING SYSTEM ONCE A WEEK

The reason is simple: this is why we use this shipping system once a week, where products are shipped on Sundays.

If we had to keep all products in large quantities, we would need a very, very, very large warehouse, like a large distribution center. The cost of that would significantly increase our prices.

Instead, we keep limited stock and receive weekly deliveries.

However, our 100+ suppliers do not all deliver at the same time, and not all of them have an accurate inventory system — and that is another story lol.

For this reason, in order to build your package, we must wait for products from all suppliers. If we already have all the items, your package may be able to leave sooner. It also depends on the volume of orders.

We hope you understand 🙏

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

All orders are dispatched once a week, on Sundays. All services, including express service, follow this same shipping schedule.

You place your order here (week 1) – for example: whether it is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

👉 This is considered our order week (week 1).

👉 Your order will be prepared from the following Monday through Saturday, then shipped the following Sunday (the next Sunday, not the one in the week you ordered).

👉 If you order on or after Sunday, in the new week, your package will then depart the following Sunday, which is approximately 14 days later.

Foire aux questions sur les produits

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

Orders are processed weekly.

If you place your order before Sunday, it will be processed and shipped the following Sunday (not the upcoming Sunday).

If you order after Sunday, it will be processed and shipped the following Sunday (i.e., the second Sunday after your order).

WHERE ARE THESE PRODUCTS LOCATED?

All our products are already in Canada, in our warehouse, ready to be shipped. You will not have any customs fees or hidden costs upon delivery.

WHY DO YOU SHIP ONCE A WEEK?

Because we work with several importers and suppliers.

Some products are in limited quantity in our warehouse and we must wait for the missing items to arrive.

Since our suppliers do not all deliver on the same day, we consolidate orders and ship once a week to ensure that your order is complete.

WHY IS AN ITEM MISSING FROM MY ORDER?

Some of our suppliers do not have real-time inventory systems and do not always notify us when a product is out of stock.

Furthermore, some items received may have an expiration date that is too soon. We check every product upon receipt and remove those that do not meet our standards.

If an item is missing, it is because we have chosen not to include it in order to guarantee you the best possible quality.

WHY DO YOU NOT HAVE A RETURN POLICY?

As these are food products, we cannot accept returns for safety and hygiene reasons.

Once a product has been shipped, we cannot guarantee the conditions under which it has been stored or handled.

Why has the price of this product increased since my last order?

Our products are purchased in euros, so the exchange rate directly influences our prices.

In addition, transport and import costs can fluctuate, which can also have an impact on the final price.
