Open the jar, and a whole late-summer afternoon escapes: a scent of warm, almost honeyed fig, with that hint of candied blackberry found only on the tree. Inside, a dark, dense flesh, speckled with thousands of tiny, crunchy seeds.

Some fig jams are just a sweet, brown paste that has forgotten its origin: bland, flat, and identical from one end of the jar to the other. This one is not of that sort. Since 1892, in a workshop nestled in Corrèze, Léonce Blanc has refused that shortcut, sticking to one rule: let the fruit speak first, and whisper the sugar only after.

That is why this jar contains 70% fruit—that is, 70g of figs per 100g of jam—and 30% less sugar than a classic jam. Ingredients: figs, sugar, concentrated lemon juice, fruit pectin. Nothing else. The lemon awakens the fruit without ever masking it, and the pectin sets the mixture gently, without ever weighing it down.

You don’t buy this just to "have something to put on your bread." You buy it for the spoonful dolloped onto goat cheese, a piece of brie, or a slice of foie gras, when the sweetness of the fig meets the salt, fat, or creaminess, and the whole table falls silent for a second.

And on a Canadian winter evening, when night falls at 4:30 p.m. and the snow crunches outside, this little jar does something quietly remarkable. You open the lid, the scent rises, round and warm, and for a few seconds you are no longer in your kitchen. You are under a fig tree, at the end of a stone path, at the hour when the sun goes down and everything slows.

On the palate, the fig arrives full and mellow, with that sweetness of honey and ripe fruit that only it possesses. The texture remains dense, almost fleshy, and the tiny seeds crunch gently under the tooth with every spoonful. The sugar remains discreet, a supporting note rather than the star, and the taste lingers long after the final bite, like a fond memory you didn't want to see end.

WHY WE USE THIS SHIPPING SYSTEM ONCE A WEEK

The reason is simple: that's why we use this shipping system once a week, where products are shipped on Sundays.

If we were to keep all products in large quantities, we would need a very, very, very large warehouse, like a large distribution center. The cost of that would significantly increase our prices.

Instead, we keep limited stock and receive weekly deliveries.

However, not all of our 100+ suppliers deliver at the same time, and not all of them have an accurate inventory system — and that's another story lol.

For this reason, in order to build your package, we have to wait for products from all suppliers. If we already have all the items, your package may be sent faster. It also depends on the volume of orders.

We hope you understand 🙏

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

All orders are dispatched once a week, on Sundays. All services, including express service, follow this same shipping schedule.

You place an order here (Week 1) – for example: whether it's Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

👉 This is considered our order week (Week 1).

👉 Your order will be prepared from the following Monday until Saturday, then dispatched on the following Sunday (the next Sunday, not the one in the week you ordered).

👉 If you order on Sunday or later in the new week, your package will then be dispatched the Sunday after that, approximately 14 days later.

Product FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

Orders are processed weekly.

If you place your order before Sunday, it will be processed and shipped on the following Sunday (not the immediate Sunday).

If you order after Sunday, it will be processed and shipped on the following Sunday (i.e., the second Sunday after your order).

WHERE ARE THESE PRODUCTS LOCATED?

All our products are already in Canada, in our warehouse, ready to be shipped. You will not have any customs fees or hidden charges upon delivery.

WHY DO YOU SHIP ONCE A WEEK?

Because we work with several importers and suppliers.

Some products are in limited quantity in our warehouse and we must wait for the missing items to be received.

Since our suppliers do not all deliver on the same day, we consolidate orders and ship once a week to ensure your order is complete.

WHY IS AN ITEM MISSING FROM MY ORDER?

Some of our suppliers do not have a real-time inventory system and do not always notify us when a product is out of stock.

In addition, some received items may have an expiration date that is too soon. We check each product upon receipt and remove those that do not meet our standards.

If an item is missing, it is because we have chosen not to include it in order to guarantee you the best possible quality.

WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A RETURN POLICY?

As these are food products, we cannot accept returns for safety and hygiene reasons.

Once a product has been shipped, we cannot guarantee the storage or handling conditions.

Why has the price of this product increased since my last order?

Our products are purchased in euros, so the exchange rate directly influences our prices.

In addition, transportation and import costs can vary, which can also impact the final price.
