Maldon Sea Salt Flakes – 1.4 kg Tub – Crunchy Sea Salt Flakes from England

That little crunch under your fingers, just before it melts on your tongue — that's the signature of Maldon salt, here in a generous size for those who never want to run out
There's a gesture great cooks make without even thinking: at the very last moment, just before serving, they take a pinch of flakes between their fingers and let them fall from their fingertips, like light snow on the finished dish. This gesture isn't about seasoning with salt — it's about offering salt as a final touch.
Since 1882, the Osborne family has been hand-harvesting this salt from the salt marshes of the small town of Maldon, Essex, England. The method has barely changed: seawater is gently heated until pyramidal crystals naturally form on the surface, then they are skimmed by hand, one by one, by artisans who know just the right moment — neither too early nor too late.
This 1.4 kg tub is the choice for those for whom Maldon is not an occasional treat but a well-established habit — the box you constantly refill on the counter, the one a chef keeps handy in the kitchen, or the one shared among food enthusiasts. No more small boxes that empty too quickly at the worst moment: here, the supply lasts, without ever losing an ounce of its crunch or its mineral freshness.
You don't buy it to salt — any table salt does that. You buy it for the texture that crunches under your tooth, for that hint of freshness that awakens grilled meat, delicate fish, or even a square of dark chocolate. And when you always have plenty on hand, this small finishing ritual becomes a reflex rather than an exception.
And then, on an ordinary weeknight, between tasks and preparing supper, that well-stocked yellow tub on the counter becomes a few seconds of escape: as you sprinkle, you're transported to that windswept English coast, miles away from daily life.

Product FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?
Orders are processed weekly.
If you place your order before Sunday, it will be processed and shipped on the following Sunday (not the immediate Sunday).
If you order after Sunday, it will be processed and shipped on the following Sunday (i.e., the second Sunday after your order).
WHERE ARE THESE PRODUCTS LOCATED?
All our products are already in Canada, in our warehouse, ready to be shipped. You will not have any customs fees or hidden charges upon delivery.
WHY DO YOU SHIP ONCE A WEEK?
Because we work with several importers and suppliers.
Some products are in limited quantity in our warehouse and we must wait for the missing items to be received.
Since our suppliers do not all deliver on the same day, we consolidate orders and ship once a week to ensure your order is complete.
WHY IS AN ITEM MISSING FROM MY ORDER?
Some of our suppliers do not have a real-time inventory system and do not always notify us when a product is out of stock.
In addition, some received items may have an expiration date that is too soon. We check each product upon receipt and remove those that do not meet our standards.
If an item is missing, it is because we have chosen not to include it in order to guarantee you the best possible quality.
WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A RETURN POLICY?
As these are food products, we cannot accept returns for safety and hygiene reasons.
Once a product has been shipped, we cannot guarantee the storage or handling conditions.
Why has the price of this product increased since my last order?
Our products are purchased in euros, so the exchange rate directly influences our prices.
In addition, transportation and import costs can vary, which can also impact the final price.
