That first string of cheese stretching from the fork to the pot, slow, golden, impossible to cut with a single motion: that is when the evening truly begins.

At first contact, it is the warmth that surprises me: this melting cheese coating the bread, creamy, almost silky. Then the flavors unfold—rich, well-rounded, slightly bold, with the depth that only well-aged cheeses can provide. Nothing is overpowering; everything is balanced. The taste lingers, and I find myself smiling. I close my eyes for a second, and I am sitting by a wood stove, somewhere in Switzerland, with no desire to leave. I dip the bread back in. Once more. One last time. (Liar.)

In an Alpine chalet, on an evening when the snow falls silently, someone rubs the pot, lights the burner, and no one looks at their phone anymore. Chairs are pulled closer. The bread is cut into large cubes. You don't say "we're eating," you say "we're having fondue," because it’s an experience meant to be shared.

This fondue follows the traditional Swiss recipe: a blend of carefully aged cheeses, ready to melt, so you can enjoy this ritual at home without spending hours in the kitchen. Just heat it gently while stirring, and the magic happens.

You don't buy a fondue just for sustenance. You buy it for the table that becomes longer than it is, for the stories that stretch out as long as the cheese, for whoever loses their bread in the pot and the penalty that comes with it. You buy it for the time we no longer take elsewhere.

On a Tuesday in January, somewhere in Canada, night falls at four o'clock and the wind beats against the window. But on the table, the pot is simmering, steam is rising, and for the duration of a meal, you are two thousand meters up, wearing a wool sweater, with the people you love.

WHY WE USE THIS SHIPPING SYSTEM ONCE A WEEK

The reason is simple: that's why we use this shipping system once a week, where products are shipped on Sundays.

If we were to keep all products in large quantities, we would need a very, very, very large warehouse, like a large distribution center. The cost of that would significantly increase our prices.

Instead, we keep limited stock and receive weekly deliveries.

However, not all of our 100+ suppliers deliver at the same time, and not all of them have an accurate inventory system — and that's another story lol.

For this reason, in order to build your package, we have to wait for products from all suppliers. If we already have all the items, your package may be sent faster. It also depends on the volume of orders.

We hope you understand 🙏

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

All orders are dispatched once a week, on Sundays. All services, including express service, follow this same shipping schedule.

You place an order here (Week 1) – for example: whether it's Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.

👉 This is considered our order week (Week 1).

👉 Your order will be prepared from the following Monday until Saturday, then dispatched on the following Sunday (the next Sunday, not the one in the week you ordered).

👉 If you order on Sunday or later in the new week, your package will then be dispatched the Sunday after that, approximately 14 days later.

Product FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?

Orders are processed weekly.

If you place your order before Sunday, it will be processed and shipped on the following Sunday (not the immediate Sunday).

If you order after Sunday, it will be processed and shipped on the following Sunday (i.e., the second Sunday after your order).

WHERE ARE THESE PRODUCTS LOCATED?

All our products are already in Canada, in our warehouse, ready to be shipped. You will not have any customs fees or hidden charges upon delivery.

WHY DO YOU SHIP ONCE A WEEK?

Because we work with several importers and suppliers.

Some products are in limited quantity in our warehouse and we must wait for the missing items to be received.

Since our suppliers do not all deliver on the same day, we consolidate orders and ship once a week to ensure your order is complete.

WHY IS AN ITEM MISSING FROM MY ORDER?

Some of our suppliers do not have a real-time inventory system and do not always notify us when a product is out of stock.

In addition, some received items may have an expiration date that is too soon. We check each product upon receipt and remove those that do not meet our standards.

If an item is missing, it is because we have chosen not to include it in order to guarantee you the best possible quality.

WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A RETURN POLICY?

As these are food products, we cannot accept returns for safety and hygiene reasons.

Once a product has been shipped, we cannot guarantee the storage or handling conditions.

Why has the price of this product increased since my last order?

Our products are purchased in euros, so the exchange rate directly influences our prices.

In addition, transportation and import costs can vary, which can also impact the final price.
